Princess Charlotte, Duchess of Clarence GCVO, DCMG (Charlotte Elizabeth Alexandra Frances; December 12, 1985), is the youngest child and only daughter of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales. Her paternal grandparents are Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Her stepmother is Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. She stands fifth, and the first female, in line to succeed her grandmother as monarch of the Commonwealth realms, preceded by her father, her older brothers Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Prince Henry of Wales and her nephew and godson Prince George of Cambridge.
On November 20, 2012 Princess Charlotte married her husband Alexander Savoy-Rouge, who was styled His Royal Highness The Duke of Clarence, Earl of Caithness, and Baron Rossmore by Her Majesty The Queen hours before their wedding. He was also created the Duke of Guise by his grandfather, Henri d'Orléans, Count of Paris, Duke of France.
