Princess Charlotte, Duchess of Clarence GCVO, DCMG (Charlotte Elizabeth Alexandra Frances; December 12, 1985), is the youngest child and only daughter of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales. Her paternal grandparents are Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Her stepmother is Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. She stands fifth, and the first female, in line to succeed her grandmother as monarch of the Commonwealth realms, preceded by her father, her older brothers Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Prince Henry of Wales and her nephew and godson Prince George of Cambridge.
On November 20, 2012 Princess Charlotte married Alexander Savoy-Rouge, who was made The Duke of Clarence, Earl of Caithness, and Baron Rossmore by Her Majesty The Queen hours before their wedding. In France he is The Duke of Guise. On 8th August 2014 the Princess gave birth to identical twin boys with her husband; Prince Edward of Clarence and Prince Henry of Clarence.
